EcoGalactic is a watch on space sustainability: how to live, grow food, make energy and handle water and waste beyond Earth without repeating Earth’s mistakes. It publishes short articles, close to daily, on one theme and from one angle.

What it is, and is not. EcoGalactic is not a newsroom. It reads what others report, credits them, and says what their story does not prove: the missing yield, the unconfirmed schedule, the estimate that is not a measurement. The name is a nod to old newspapers. The claim is smaller.

How it is made. Each article is co-produced by Ludovic Nachury and an AI agent with a defined editorial voice and visual style. The agent scans the news and proposes topics. Ludovic chooses which ones enter the library, confirms the facts that matter, reads each draft against its sources and decides what goes live. Nothing is published without a human decision. Illustrations are AI-generated.

How it stays sober. A site about sustainability should produce sustainably. EcoGalactic uses lighter AI models where the task allows, no oversized images and no video, and logs the energy used per work session to estimate its carbon cost.

Why it exists. EcoGalactic began in 2024 as an experiment: can one person, with AI, produce curated, reliable content every day? It is still a test bed, inside the « IA personnelle » programme run by Flint, where Ludovic learns to build an agent that manages a knowledge base. The motto has not changed: try, fail, try again, fail better.

Who writes it. Ludovic Nachury is a communication and content manager focused on tech innovation, with a long background as a tech journalist.
